The influence of man on nature in urban areas is very large and always means its change or transformation into “nature” adapted to the life of man in the city. We welcome every effort to turn the street space that was once overrun with garbage and dust into a beautifully landscaped project, especially if it will enable residents to use it functionally.
50 years ago, a fountain was designed in this place, which was supposed to enrich the street life of the residents of this area. Unfortunately, the said project never came to life, so the local authorities decided to take a step forward and refine the space of their fellow citizens. Engaging the communal company Parkovi i Nasade, landscape architect Antonija Miletić had the opportunity to turn this concreted “structure” into a small garden with benches for sitting, which we had the opportunity to custom-make for this project.
Siberian larch protected with oil for exterior use was used in this project.
